Adalrich turnaround - 1by *oneoftwo

Okay since Finals are sneaking up on me, I have to make turn arounds for my other characters. This is Haydn's biological father, and Rune's 'supposed' father (I'm dreading Alder's turn around ><; ).

The top one is Adalrich before he's consumed with the military. He was Art nouveau inspired while growing up, and now in the Deco period he's divulged into a life of art.

The bottom one is a severe change in Adalrich's character. The amount of 'betrayals' he's been dealt with had inflicted his character greatly. Also, for those of you wondering about the eye patch, he become so mentally unstable that he gouges out the eye that he considered 'impure'.

I have to say that besides the kids (Rune and Haydn), he's probably my favorite just because how much of a loose canon he is.

What did you think when you came up with the pose of his older self, wouldn't a more disciplined looking kind of hands behind his back-pose had suited him better? Really good job with the details on the costume and overall, I like it!

It's interesting to see the characters this way.

To be honest, I just used the same anatomy between old and young, thus the same pose XD It saves me time on all the other things I have to do for this project.

I cringe at how painful that pose looks to draw from all angles. But I love the way his body language changes from soft, melodus and calm to overbearing and tense.
