I wanted to do another Print for Ohayocon (Even though my current streak of making successful one shave been failing), so I’m testing it up on here first to see your reaction. If you have anything you’d like tweaked about it, I’m open to critiques!
'Awashima' is well drawn and I love the feel of it.
The way you did the composition is well balanced, having the orange smokes going diagonally at the top and diagonally at the bottom while the yellow clothes along with the red sash dominating the centre.
I like how you have flat colors and then place a texture/pattern over it. It seems like you cut out the pieces from various papers and pasted them all onto one paper to make this amazing art.
My only issue is that the background sort of eats up the warm colors you used for the character there, so the image ends up losing some of its impact on the viewer.
The sleeves' brightness seems to be too much. (extreme brightness+saturation killed out the details in my opinion ; I'm not sure if it's due to screen settings, or if it was purposely done. But I think if the brightness/luminescence was turned a notch down, it'll still be bright enough to bring attention towards the center and doesn't cause issues to the composition,\.
Sadly Katsucon has a policy now where they don't want people who have been in their AA in previous years >< I tried to find someone to share with me but it didn't work out.

But overall, very lovely artwork!
