Berserk is an amazing series~ very dark but super exciting, if you can handle heavy gore and lots of disturbing imagery. I strongly recommend it. <3

It's depressing in the manga too, even more so since nothing is really edited... XD It just continues on, haha. But if you're interested I'd definitely read the manga first. The anime is just something a bit lighter to watch afterwards, since it's pretty old and not the best quality. XD Still endearing.

Ah! You nave to see it. Easily my favorite anime and manga, even though they are very different.

And yeah. It's one of those great endings in the anime. It's one that just makes you sit there like, "What the fuck just happened?"

Yeah, it does go on. The anime only goes to chapter 12 in the series. Really, it is just the prequel to the main story. What Griffith is willing to sacrifice in order to get his dream, why Guts is hell bent upon revenge...

I do love this story.

That is a very interesting painting of them. It looks kind of Disney-esque(the good kind of Disney) and Gutts seems to look like Liam Neeson (cool). I actually like that. The anime ends in the middle of volume 13 (episode 25 part 2). "Guardians of Desire" (End of Volume 1-3) is a must read for anyone who has seen the last episode and was disappointed. .....I also like that feather Griffith is holding. It's like...I dunno...
